Your information deserves thoughtful care. This policy explains how The Parampare handles personal information when you browse our website, place an order or contact us about our products.

1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to theparampare.com, our online store and customer communications. It covers The Parampare and its Snana Veda collection, including PRASHANTHI, VISHRANTHI and SHUDDHI. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to The Parampare.
2. Information we collect
- Contact and delivery details: your name, email address, phone number, billing address and delivery address.
- Orders and payments: products and sizes ordered, quantities, order value, payment status, transaction references, delivery updates and refund records. Where a bank or UPI refund is agreed, we may need the details necessary to send it.
- Account information: information you provide when creating or managing a store account.
- Customer support: messages, order numbers, product or batch details, and photographs you choose to share about an order or product concern.
- Website activity: IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, referring pages, cookie identifiers, pages viewed and interactions with the website.
We receive information from you, from your device through website technologies, and from payment or delivery providers when they update an order. Please do not send passwords, card security codes, OTPs or UPI PINs to us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
3. How we use information
We use information to process payments and orders; deliver products; manage accounts, cancellations and refunds; answer questions; investigate product quality or safety concerns; prevent fraud and protect the website; understand how visitors use the store; measure advertising; and meet applicable accounting, tax and legal obligations.
We use the information needed for these purposes and seek consent where required. If information essential to an order is not provided, we may be unable to fulfil that order. Browsing or buying from us does not, by itself, give permission for every form of promotional communication.
4. Payments and delivery partners
Payment providers process payment credentials under their own privacy and security terms. We receive the payment information needed to confirm an order, reconcile a payment or handle a refund. Delivery partners receive relevant recipient, contact, address and parcel details so they can deliver your purchase.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising
Cookies and similar technologies help remember your cart, maintain login sessions and support checkout. Blocking essential cookies may prevent these features from working properly.
Our website uses Google analytics and advertising tools, Microsoft Clarity and Meta tracking technologies. Depending on the tools enabled and your choices, these services may receive device and browser information, cookie identifiers, page views and shopping events such as product views, cart activity and purchases.
Microsoft Clarity helps us understand website interactions through clicks, scrolling, heatmaps and session replays. This information helps identify usability problems, improve the store and understand marketing performance. Google and Meta tools help measure visits and advertising results and may support personalised advertising. Service providers may process data for their own purposes under their policies.
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser and use any consent controls displayed on the website. Where consent is required for optional tracking, it must be obtained before that tracking is used. You can also use Google’s Analytics opt-out tool and the advertising preferences offered by Google, Microsoft and Meta. Deleting cookies does not automatically delete information already collected.
Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy, Microsoft Privacy Statement and Meta Privacy Policy.
6. When information is shared
Relevant information may be shared with providers supporting payments, delivery, hosting, store operations, customer communications, analytics and advertising. Professional advisers or authorities may receive information where necessary to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or protect rights. If our business is reorganised or transferred, relevant records may be transferred with appropriate safeguards and any notices required by law.
7. Product concerns and sensitive information
If you contact us about irritation or another product concern, please share only what is necessary to explain the issue. You do not need to send a complete medical history. Information you voluntarily provide about a reaction is used to respond to the concern, investigate product safety and meet any applicable obligations. We may need to share relevant details with advisers or authorities where required.
8. Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including order support, refunds, accounting, legal obligations and dispute resolution. Different types of information may have different retention periods. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, subject to applicable requirements and backup retention.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to help protect information. No website, storage system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please keep your account credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorised use.
9. Your choices and requests
You may contact us to request access to information you have provided, correction of inaccurate details, account closure or deletion of information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We may need to verify your identity. Some records must be retained for legal obligations, existing transactions or disputes; if a request cannot be fully met, we will explain why.
To stop promotional communications, use an unsubscribe option where provided or contact us with your preference. Necessary order, payment, delivery and service messages may still be sent. Contact us promptly if you need to correct an address before dispatch.
10. Children and external services
Our store is intended for purchases by adults. A parent or legal guardian should place an order for anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and address it.
Instagram, WhatsApp, payment services and other external websites operate under their own privacy policies. Information shared directly with them is also governed by their policies. Some service providers may process information outside India, subject to applicable data-protection requirements.
11. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, practices or applicable requirements change. The latest version will appear here with its update date. Where required, we will provide further notice or seek fresh consent. A policy update does not remove rights available under applicable law.
12. Contact us about privacy
For a privacy request or complaint, contact The Parampare customer-care team with the subject Privacy request. Please include enough information for us to understand your concern without sending unnecessary sensitive documents. We aim to address privacy complaints promptly and within one month, subject to any applicable shorter legal deadline. You may also approach a competent authority where available under applicable law.
